Starting his Career in the late 70’s as a Design Engineer, Mark progressed to General Manager with a major Christchurch Engineering firm before deciding to change vocation in 1998. As a keen investor Mark identified that there was a definite lack of skilled professionals offering advice on setting up the best finance structures for long term investing. With 2011 came major changes in regulation both in New Zealand and Australia. The New Zealand government created a new qualification, which is now the benchmark requirement for all advisors who give specific types of personalized investment advice. Mark has obtained this new qualification and is now an Authorized Financial Advisor in New Zealand allowing him to continue providing financial plans for all his clients. It also means that we believe he is the only individual in NZ holding an Australian Credit Licence. Mark’s wealth of financial knowledge, years of experience and his dedication to the strong belief that forming long-term relationships, in order to help client’s achieve their financial goals, is key to their success.
Kristina has worked as Mark’s PA since 2006. In this time she has played an integral part in assisting hundreds of client’s with their financial goals and heavily supports Mark with the research and property selection process. Kristina regularly attends trainings and lender events to ensure she stays up to date with the state of the current market and latest financial products available. Kristina’s experience in the industry and her professional manner has made her an indispensable asset to the team.
After 4 years of working for a catering company, Judith decided she wanted to be her own boss and so started her own catering business which she ran for 5 years. Being keen on property investment herself she joined with Mark in 1998 to start their own mortgage broking company specialising in investment property finance and advice. Judith’s role has been invaluable supporting the administration for the entire team.
